Emission factors

Indian factors, each with its source.

Sustano works with CEA grid emission factors and IPCC fuel factors, and you can add your own. Every factor shows where it came from and which year it applies to, and each calculation remembers the version it used.

  • CEA grid factors by version: V20.0 for FY2023-24, and V21.0 for FY2024-25 and FY2025-26.
  • See at a glance which factors are missing a source or are out of date.

Frequently asked questions

Does Sustano calculate every BRSR Core KPI automatically?

Not every one. Most BRSR Core KPIs are calculated from your data. The rest are entered directly with their evidence and go through the same approval.

What happens when a new emission factor is published?

Earlier years keep the factor they were reported with, and the new version applies from its effective date. You can always see which version produced each reported number.
