Value chain

Supplier data you can stand behind.

Send suppliers and customers a short questionnaire. They answer through a secure link, attach their evidence, and your team reviews every answer before it is used.

A supplier answers on a phone and attaches the bill behind the number.
How it helps

Easy for suppliers. Dependable for you.

One list of partners

Keep every supplier and customer in one place, with their contacts and their share of your business.

Ready-made questions

Build questionnaires from a bank of questions and reuse them every year.

No login for suppliers

Suppliers answer through a secure link, save as they go and attach their evidence. It costs them nothing.

For suppliers

What SEBI asks for

Under SEBI’s March 2025 circular (2025/42), value-chain partners are the suppliers and customers that each account for 2% or more of your purchases or sales. Disclosure is voluntary for the top 250 listed companies from FY2025-26, and assessment or assurance of it is voluntary from FY2026-27. Read the full rules.

How to plan it

Four steps to a value-chain disclosure.

  1. Rank partners by shareList suppliers and customers by their share of your purchases and sales, and mark those at 2% or more.
  2. Decide your coverageDecide whether to limit the disclosure to 75% of purchases or sales, and record the share your disclosed partners cover.
  3. Ask for specific dataSend each partner a short, specific request instead of a general survey, and say which evidence you need to see.
  4. Review before you use itAccept or reject each answer, and keep its evidence. If you may have the disclosure assessed or assured later, collect evidence from the first answer.
Review

Every answer is reviewed before it counts.

Your team accepts or rejects each answer. An accepted answer joins your own data with its evidence and a record of who supplied it, then goes through the same approval as everything else.

Follow-up

Chase fewer emails.

See who has answered and who has not, resend a link in a click, and ask a single partner for a specific figure when you need one.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can we ask customers as well as suppliers?

Yes. The partner list holds both, and SEBI’s 2% test applies to purchases and to sales.

When should we start asking suppliers?

Early. Suppliers need time to understand what you are asking for and to find the records behind their answers, so send requests well before your reporting year closes.
