What is Sustano?
ESG reporting software for Indian companies. Every figure is linked to its source evidence, its calculation and the people who approved it.
Which frameworks do you support?
SEBI BRSR (Sections A, B and C) and BRSR Core, an ESRS (CSRD) template and the GHG Protocol for Scope 1 and 2. GRI and ISSB are not supported.
Is BRSR XBRL included?
Yes. BRSR is filed in both PDF and XBRL, and XBRL is included on every Sustano plan. Sustano does not file with the exchange: you or your filing agent submit the report.
Can plant teams enter data without an account?
Yes. Send a secure link. They submit a value and a photo of the bill from a phone, and it arrives ready for review.
Can we import our existing spreadsheets?
Yes. Download a template, fill it in and upload it. Sustano shows every change and error before anything is saved.
Do you integrate with SAP or other ERPs?
Not directly. Data comes in through direct entry, spreadsheet upload, AI document import and supplier questionnaires.
BRSR and assurance
What is BRSR Core?
A subset of BRSR: key performance indicators under nine ESG attributes that SEBI requires to be assessed or assured, phased by market capitalisation (top 1000 from FY2026-27).
Does Sustano provide assurance?
No. Sustano is software only. Your assessor or assurance provider reviews the data with their own access: they can see every figure with its evidence, calculation and approvals, and record their own decision, but cannot change data.
Can our assessor verify the data independently?
Yes. The audit trail is tamper-evident, and a separate verification tool lets an assessor confirm it has not been altered, without relying on Sustano.
Does Sustano file the report?
No. You or your filing agent file with the exchange.
AI
Does AI decide the reported numbers?
No. AI proposes values with a citation to the exact words or cell in your document. A person accepts or rejects each one, accepted values become drafts, and they go through the same approval as any other value.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. AI providers process documents under no-training, no-retention terms.
Where is AI processing done?
Your data is stored in India. AI processing uses enterprise providers, which may process outside India, under no-training, no-retention terms.
Security
Where is our data stored?
In India, in Google Cloud's Mumbai region.
Are you SOC 2 / ISO 27001 certified?
Not yet. Our SOC 2 and ISO 27001 programmes are in progress.
How is our data separated from other companies' data?
Each company's data is kept separate, so one customer can never see another's.
Do you support SSO?
Yes. Single sign-on is available on the Enterprise plan.
Pricing
How is Sustano priced?
Per reporting entity, per year, based on the plan and the number of plants, value-chain partners and modules you need. Every plan includes unlimited users. Prices are in INR, billed annually, plus GST. The pricing page lists the plans and answers more pricing questions.
